To support scounting financially, the Old Colony Council helps
scout units raise funds with a variety of fundraisers.
The largest fundraiser is the annual Trails End popcorn
sale. This sale helps scouts learn that a "a scout is thrifty"
through raising the money needed for camping and excursions.
The yearly Friends of Scouting
(FOS) drive appeals to parents and sponsors, presenting
information about how scouting operations are financed and how
their donations directly affect the scouting experiences of
youth.
Also each year, the council holds a Council
Auction to support council operations for youth.
To support needed improvements at the council's camp, the
council has been driving a Capital
Campaign for several years. The goal is in sight.
Don't wait to be contacted or for a fundraising event. If you
