About the Course

This course covers American Red Cross certification for adult and child/infant CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator), using the newest guidelines. It's open to adult leaders who are registered in the BSA. We have eight open spots, which are offered first come, first served. If you don't get a spot, you'll be able to put your name on a waiting list for future courses. We plan to continue to offer this course several times per year.

Note: Our CPR course is standard American Red Cross CPR/AED training. This is not the same as "CPR for the Professional Rescuer," which is a more intensive course required for the BSA Lifeguard award.
