This giant mini-jamboree will bring together troops and crews from almost every Council in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We want you to share in the fun and excitement of this celebration. MassJam 08 will be a unique opportunity for the members of your troop and crew to make friends throughout Southeastern New England. Nine thousand Scouts and leaders are expected to attend. A variety of activities and entertainment will make MassJam 08 an event to remember.
MassJam 08 will be held at the Barnstable County Fair Grounds on Route 151 in the Cape Cod community of Falmouth. The site is easily accessible by routes 495, 28, and 3, and has over 100 acres of camping area. Details and maps will be provided. MassJam 08 will take place during the long Columbus Day weekend, October 11-13, 2008.

Cub Day Camp 2008
The Old Colony Council BSA is excited to announce our new relationship with
the Town Sharon as a partner in Cub Scout Day Camp. Camp Horizon is located on
the shore of Massapoug Pond on Lakeview Street in Sharon approximately 20
minutes from many of the towns in Great Ponds, Seven Rivers, and Squanto
Districts. While we know the distances are greater from Cranberry Harbors
District, all scouts are welcome. The camp includes hiking trails, waterfront,
activity fields and recreation buildings which meet the safety standards of the
BSA. This convenient camp provides an atmosphere for fun and excitement.
